This course is for puppies 6 months and under. The focus of the course is to teach your puppy basic commands, and good habits. The commands taught are: sit, down, stay, come and heel. Common puppy "issues" are also discussed in class, i.e. jumping, mouthing, crate training, potty training, etc. The method of training we will be using is clicker training - focusing on positive reinforcement. Socialization is also a big focus of this course. The puppies will have the opportunity to socialize with other puppies as well as other people.

Novice Classes

This course is for dogs 6 months of age and up (no - your dog is never too old to learn!). Dogs will learn basic commands such as sit, down, sit/stay, down/stay, come and proper heeling. We will discuss common behavioral problems - jumping, chewing, digging, barking, etc. The method of training we will be using is clicker training. Dogs will have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and other people.

Intermediate/Advanced Classes

This course is designed for you to fine tune the behaviors your dog has learned, as well as teach them several new behaviors. The emphasis of the class is practicing off leash work, and working around distractions. Operant conditioning, and behavior modification will be discussed, and participants will be required to train their dogs one unique behavior of choice during the course.

Tricks & Games Classes

A class designed to test obdience skills by using a varitey of games and tricks, for example: musical chairs & relay races.
