Does your dog look the other way when you call him? Drag you down the street during walks? Need to be put outside every time company comes over? Does your yard resemble the Grand Canyon? If any of these situations sound familiar, we can help! The type of training used at The Animals' House is accomplished through positive reinforcement, better know as affection training. Through this training, you can create a better and lasting relationship between you and your dog. The whole thing is as simple as this: positive reinforcement, in the terms we use it, means that when your dog does something you ask it to do, you do something good in return for your dog. Through this training, your dog will learn more quickly, and retain what it has learned longer. The dog actually begins to look forward to the training sessions. This creates a relationship where your dog will trust you in any situation, they will begin to listen and respond to you, and this will be a potentially life saving asset.
All of our classes are overseen by our owner and training director Kathy Benner, CPDT.
